Snow
Tonight snow
Tonight it floated
As when we were still to grow
Snow like dried leaves in a garden loaded.
In shoes the leaves
Snow in a sea of leaves
Glasses and white moons
Snow of tired mums.
And torn trousers
For falls and bouncers
Flat tires where Victoria sleeps
And for the first time she saw
And waved at the falling snow
For her
And for us.
Tonight life
Tonight flies
Once snow was brighter
And my mother less tired.
Tonight it floated
As when we were still to grow
Snow like dried leaves in a garden loaded.
In shoes the leaves
Snow in a sea of leaves
Glasses and white moons
Snow of tired mums.
And torn trousers
For falls and bouncers
Flat tires where Victoria sleeps
And for the first time she saw
And waved at the falling snow
For her
And for us.
Tonight life
Tonight flies
Once snow was brighter
And my mother less tired.
